My Journey at Enthuse – by Graeme Gibson

Before I started at Enthuse in April I was very lonely and rarely left the house. Since starting Enthuse I have loved making new friends and reconnecting with Cathy from my workshop at Kippa-Ring many years ago.

Since receiving NDIS funding it means I don’t have to pay all the time anymore and it’s allowed me to learn a lot of new things and able to achieve so much more that I’d never be able to do or afford without the funding. With NDIS I am about to start Exercise Physiology to really help my balance so I don’t have to rely on my walker and I cant wait to start aqua classes with my carer.

I have achieved so much since April, learning how to email and use computers and I have gained so much more confidence when dealing with people in the public and have increased my social skills. I love going to so many different places with my carer from beach outings, the library, lunch and so much more, and I really love creating the photo album of all my outings.

At Enthuse I love the various outings we get to go out on, the different activities and programmes and love the interaction, no day is ever the same and always a lot of fun to be had.

I really believe with Enthuse and the NDIS funding I have a far better quality of life, a lot more confidence and I don’t feel lonely anymore.
