The town that is pushing inclusiveness for people with disabilities

Hamilton is a country town in Victoria which has, according to this ABC article, a good reputation for being inclusive of people with disabilities. This article features a number of people and the jobs they are doing in paid or voluntary capacities. Its always good to read stories like these to show the community, that people with disabilities can and do make meaningful contributions, but very often they just need someone to give them a chance. Sometimes our expectations for people with disabilities are so low that we cannot imagine them in valued roles in their communities. Hopefully stories such as these will influence people to think differently about including and employing people with disabilities.
